MEA Alumnus

Today I was blindsided. It is Alumni Weekend here at Mt. Ellis Academy and before the church service they were giving out a few awards and making announcements. I was about half paying attention, when the MC announced that they wanted to make someone an Honorary Alumni. When they started telling about what this person has done for the school over the past several years, I started to shrivel into my chair for I knew who they were talking about. I was called to the front and awarded this certificate.

It appears that, although I have taken no classes here, I have become an alumnus before my Grand daughter, Sarah, who graduates this year.
